Is Nyachae a threat to Ongwae?

Son to former veteran politician Simon Nyachae, Charles Nyachae has been in the front line condemning the Kisii governor James Ongwae. The former CIC boss has been spearheading campaigns against Ongwae saying the he has looted public funds to his best and needs an early retirement. It's quite clear that Nyachae and Ongwae are not in good political terms.
Sources have now revealed that Nyachae could be rallying behind senator Chris Obure who is aiming to unsit Ongwae on a Jubilee ticket.

If Charles Nyachae will be on the ballot, this will be his first time unlike Ongwae who used to vie for the Kitutu Chache seat. Ongwae has been displaying confidence by challenging his opponents to dare him.

As the election date is near the race could get tighter as the anti-Ongwae morans have gone as far as assembling their strongholds together. Nyachae wants to conjoin his Nyaribari Chache to Obure's Bobasi to harvest voters in plenty. Will this be the main threat? Or,  will the corruption links create a battle zone?
