Uhuru, Raila differ about election day

NASA leader, Raila Odinga, has said that their supporters shall hold demonstrations across the country on 26th October 2017, the election day. This comes days after NASA withdrew its participation from the repeat polls after the commission failed to meet their demands named Irreducible Minimums. According to Raila Odinga, the Jubilee regime is targeting the Luo community which is at the front line in the current anti IEBC demonstrations experienced in the purported NASA strongholds. In his official Facebook page, Raila called on the Jubilee administration to investigate the killings terming them extra judicial. On Tuesday, the coalition called off their daily demonstrations on behalf of the demonstrators who died during the demonstrations. In what seemed like an answer to Odinga's claims, President Uhuru Kenyatta warned the NASA coalition not to interfere with the voting exercise on 26th saying that it's not a compulsory duty to vote and every Kenyan is entitled to security. Speaking in Trans Nzoia while receiving defectors from a NASA affiliate party, Ford Kenya, Uhuru asked the locals to turn out in large numbers and vote for him. He was accompanied by Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, Senate speaker Ken Lusaka and other Jubilee leaders. If NASA shall stand to their decision of boycotting the 26th election then President Uhuru's Jubilee is expected to win.
